Chelsea Lawrie

Chelsea's love for fashion and events started at a young age in her home district, Muskoka, Ontario. The dress-up room was her favourite place to play, and home fashion shows became a typical pass time. Chelsea also enjoyed assisting her parents in any way possible with their catering business. 

 Pursuing a post-secondary education in Fashion Arts from Humber College in Toronto, Chelsea, majored in Colour Theory and Fashion Show & Event Production. During her years at Humber College, she developed a keen interest in personal and editorial styling, dressing, event production, and set design. 

Chelsea Lawrie proudly joined one of Edmonton's lead event rental and planning firms in 2014 as their senior Events Manager providing admirable client experiences for live events, weddings, and corporate functions.
 
Event design, creative solutions and strategic approaches toward event logistics and resources have been a passion for Chelsea, earning numerous design, logistic and professional achievement awards throughout her career. In 2018, Chelsea was honoured by receiving the prestigious title "Most Outstanding Wedding Planner, 2018."
In 2019, Chelsea earned her Certified Special Event Professional designation. This certificate recognizes event professionals with the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform all components of a special event internationally.

In March 2020, our world changed – and so did the events industry. The uncertain and incredibly challenging time allowed Chelsea to pivot and focus on her professional journey and future trajectory within the industry. Ultimately, Ivory & Marnier was established!
